VOTER RESOURCES

Efforts to limit voter participation across the country have made news for most of last year.

Wyoming recently passed a voter ID law that is not nearly as restrictive as what other states have passed.

But in Wyoming, only about half the people that are eligible to vote actually are registered and, in primary elections (the election that, in this conservative state, are often more important than
general elections) only about a third of those who are registered to vote actually vote.

The volunteers encourage voter registration and work with other groups to sponsor registration events.

Check back for upcoming opportunities to participate.
